This Privacy Policy explains how MacroCalc.online (“MacroCalc”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and calorie and macro calculator (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

What information we collect
We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

Information you enter into the calculator — such as your age, sex, height, weight, activity level, goals, and descriptions of food or meals. You provide this so the assistant can estimate calories and macronutrients for you.
Technical data — such as your browser type, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and pages visited. This is collected automatically for security and analytics.
Contact data — if you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
We do not ask for your name, payment card details, or government identifiers to use the calculator.

How we use your information
We use the information to:

provide calorie and macronutrient estimates and operate the assistant;
maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
understand how the Service is used (aggregated analytics);
respond to your messages and support requests.
AI processing
The assistant uses artificial intelligence to generate nutrition estimates. The text and figures you enter are processed to produce a response. We do not use your inputs to identify you personally, and we do not sell your inputs.

Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Service working and to measure traffic (for example, via privacy-respecting analytics). You can control or block cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work if you disable them.

Sharing your information

Data retention

Children
